I’m Dominic LaMarca, a production and brand designer who leads with research, studying the audience, competitive landscape, and ethical implications of every project
My background spans EdTech, music, manufacturing, and fitness, and I’ve worked with organizations of all sizes – from global companies to independent artists. I care about work that’s considered, consistent, and built to last. Most recently, that meant navigating a full rebrand at Playaway Products, following their acquisition by Penguin Random House, adapting hundreds of assets across multiple product lines.
I studied Integrated Marketing and Design at Miami University through an individualized studies program, which let me build my own curriculum across design, emerging technology, business, and studio art. That interdisciplinary foundation shapes how I approach every project.
Outside of design, I teach guitar and piano and stay closely connected to the music world through freelance work with independent artists. That creative life informs how I think about design, especially when it comes to understanding what resonates with an audience.
